Hi.  My name is Jeni Jacobs and I am the special education resource room teacher for Mountain View Elementary School.  I received a Bachelor's degree in Child Development from California State University, Chico prior to receiving my teaching credentials in both general and special education.  I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Math from American College of Education.  

I started my teaching career in California where I taught at a small school in rural northern California for 7 years.  Almost every year I taught a different grade or combination from 1st through 4th grade and enjoyed every minute of it.  In 2008 I joined Mountain View Elementary as a part-time Special Education Resource Room Teacher for a year and I have been working full time since the 2009-2010 school year.

At Mountain View Elementary, the Resource Room has one full-time teacher and one full-time resource room assistant. We serve students in grades K-6 both in and out of the classroom, providing support in academics, study skills, and social skills.
